Barbi's Quilting Service

Thank you for stopping by. Ken and I have been making quilts sense 1986. We have been doing hand guided machine quilting sense 1994. This was the only way we could complete all those quilt tops we were collecting. We believe that keeping it affordable we can help others to get those quilt tops out of storage and get them onto beds. We offer a wide variety of services that include but are not limited to the following:

Edge to edge continuous line quilting
Echo/outline quilting
Stippling
Binding

Please provide backing material 3" wider and 3" longer than your quilt top. We can supply the batting (prices below) or you may supply your own, If sending your top by mail or UPS please attach your name address and phone # to the contents of the package. Your quilt will be returned to you via 1st class priority mail and will be insured for $100.00 unless you request otherwise.

Prices...

Edge to edge cont. Line quilting.............................$1.25 per square foot
Custom quilting (echo, outline or stippling)............$1.75 per square foot
Binding.................................................................$2.00 per linear foot
Batting bonded polyester high or low loft...............$3.50 per linear yard
Warm and Natural Cotton Batt.............................$8.00 per linear yard

To help you figure out the cost of edge to edge quilting: Example quilt size twin with a 10"drop and 10" tuck =59x95 multiply 59x95=5605 divide by 144=38.92 multiply 38.92x1.25=48.65 To do the same for custom quilting the last step would be to multiply 38.92 by 1.75.

Welcome to the Quilters Haven. Haven means retreat, refuge, shelter, asylum (are we crazy about quilting or what?)!This is a great place for beginners to learn from the more experienced. ALL are welcomed. We intend for our list to be SAFE FOR ALL AGES INCLUDING CHILDREN and it is to be a FAMILY-ORIENTED, MULTI-GENERATIONAL email list. We have weekly discussion topics, organized swaps, and good clean fun. We are chatty and plan to stay that way. Not all emails are quilt related. Sometimes life is scrappy so make quilts. After all we are all "MATERIAL" girls at heart. Heather Farah AZFarahs@aol.com For more information: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/The-Quilters-Haven
